1, Stunted Attacker Runs
Despite my best efforts to instigate forward runs, my attackers consistently display an infuriating tendency to halt their momentum after covering a mere 10 meters. This abrupt deceleration occurs just as I trigger a through ball, enabling opposing defenders to effortlessly intercept. My attempts at tactical adjustments and varied instructions, including forward runs, “get in behind,” and fast build-up, have yielded little success. The perpetual struggle to orchestrate effective attacking movements leaves me exasperated.
2, Overzealous Defenders
Another perplexing dilemma resides in the behavior of my defenders, who, regardless of my instructions, exhibit an unwarranted eagerness to charge forward. This impulsive movement provides opposing attackers, sprinting at full throttle, with a golden opportunity to slip past my backline. Despite experimenting with instructions like “stay back while defending” and employing conservative interceptions, my center-backs persist in advancing, inadvertently granting opponents the chance to breeze through and score with nonchalant ease. This recurrent defensive lapse has become a source of immense frustration.
3, Pace Dilemma for High-Speed Attackers
Adding to my tactical tribulations is the inexplicable phenomenon where my high-pace attackers seem incapable of outsprinting defenders. Even with a well-executed through ball, my attackers catch up to the ball only to inexplicably decelerate upon reaching it, allowing opposing defenders to effortlessly overtake them. Attempts to utilize the knock-on feature while sprinting prove futile, as my players seem to encounter an invisible quicksand barrier, causing their promising attacking runs to fizzle out. The most perplexing aspect is the inability of speedsters like Neymar to knock the ball forward and outpace significantly slower center-backs. It’s a conundrum that defies logic and hinders my attacking potential.
Despite possessing a commendable connection with a mere 20ms ping, I’m left grappling with these issues, convinced that the root cause lies within my actions rather than external factors. The absence of comprehensive tutorials within the game exacerbates my predicament, leaving me in a perpetual state of uncertainty about where I’m going wrong.
